Click Above To See CPTV Merchandise Click on the GMA Image to go directly to Good Morning America Welcome To CPTV Welcome to the web site of Capitol Productions Television, Inc.  CPTV was originally created in 1989 by Robert Cohencious in Leesburg, Virginia.  CPTV's initial purpose was to provide production and broadcast outlets to organizations and sporting activities not typically covered by major networks. Today, CPTV crews and produces for many of the largest television venues in the world.  We have not, nor will ever, forget our original purpose.  CPTV is headquartered 30 miles west of our nation's capitol, Washington DC.  The facility is located on the property of Virginia Tech at The Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center.  CPTV has provided services throughout the U.S. and Europe. The majority of contractors to CPTV are all proud Members of NABET, Local 31 AFL-CIO, Washington DC.  Many of CPTV crew members are Capitol Hill and White House credentialed.  Some members of the CPTV crew are qualified to work in sensitive U.S. government positions, with clearances up to Top Secret Cryptographic. Another major asset to CPTV is the fact that much of our crew is multi-lingual and has extensive overseas experience. CURRENT EVENTS WHAT'S HAPPENING AROUND THE CPTV STUDIO'S? Spring is in the air!  Now that the Obama Administration is up and running, we refocus on our continued Capitol Hill and White House correspondence for networks accross the globe.  From ABC News in the US to ABC (Australian Broadcasting Company) News in Australia, CPTV shows it's true colors. VA Tech and the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center will roll out additional video support services for the upcoming year. As always, we are so excited about new medical, educational, and promotional video productions throughout the year. CPTV is now networking with Virginia Tech in Blacksburg to begin producing Development Programming to assist in fund raising efforts. We are so excited about the mutual cooperation between the two locations, Blacksburg and Leesburg. Yes, we are "still" working on our distribution of IRELAND Walking Tours "Unscripted"! Tourism Ireland and CPTV are teaming up to bring the viewer on a world-class journey to the Emerald Isle. We will be featuring incredible walking tours, sea kyaking, surfing, and other not-so-typical activities throughout this beautiful Country. Our trip has been completed, and is now in the hands of Discovery Channel Development and Submissions. We should hear back from them within the month for a decision on airing these programs. We will also offer special web based video for Tourism Ireland's web site. This will be an incredible opportunity for any tourism related company to place your buy ads now!
